“Overall enjoyable stay in the Galmont hotel”
The breakfast was very good and the hotel is very close to Galway city centre, but the air conditioning didn’t work at all.

The dining room food was very poor, the cocktails were bad, the seafood chowder was appalling, the waiters were not interested in our comfort level, the kitchen needs to be reorganised and a cook.

The location, breakfast and staff were good, but the place needs overall upgrading: the exhaust in the bath doesn’t work well, the water in the tub takes a long time to drain, and the metal strip between the carpet and tiled floor hurts.

Great location, nice room, restaurant and pool, very helpful staff, but it was expensive.

The leisure facilities and reception area were good, the soaps and conditioners were great quality, and breakfast was fantastic, but the room cleaners left cleaning items in my bath and the corridors were always filled with quilts and sheets and generally didn’t look great.
