Poerava, Manutea, Poeiti, and Manihiki and their animals were very welcoming and quickly made us feel at home. They gave excellent local advice. Spend a few evenings with them and you won’t be disappointed. Their atypical accommodation is well equipped, and we slept to the sound of nearby waves. The black‑sand beach access is ideal for a completely refreshing stay. We arrived as tourists and left as friends. Thanks to the whole family.
