“A dump hole on.main street. It should be a shop .For that is what they try to do.Sell everything .”
The reception staff were arrogant; Kuldeep was unhelpful from day one and gave me a tiny room that I asked to upgrade, but he said none were available. When I insisted, he eventually found a larger room with a double bed, yet he was reluctant to extend my checkout time and claimed the hotel was fully booked. I tried booking four rooms to test, and I was shocked to see that accommodation was actually available. The TV in my room didn't work, and despite many calls and visits, it took 10 hours before it was set up in just a minute. I missed my IPL game, developed laryngitis, and urgently needed a taxi to the hospital, but the hotel offered no help or contacts for a taxi. They have no cars, and OLA and UBER had no cars in Bhuj; they bluntly said they had no taxi contacts, leaving overseas visitors stranded and without a way to get to the airport. Finally I had to find a taxi on Google and paid an exorbitant fare for 8 km. I stayed at Fern in Anjar where everything was fine, and likewise in Rajkot. I will never stay at a Fern hotel again; this experience was truly bitter.
