The owner was kind and the location was good. The bedroom had futons set up and I fell asleep quickly, which was nice! Unfortunately, there were bugs, though the bedroom itself was fine.

“She made our stay in Tokunoshima more enjoyable!”

Junko was warm yet respectful of guests’ privacy, making us feel welcome without being intrusive. The place has a kitchen with stove, rice cooker, electric kettle, fridge stocked with complimentary water and drinks, and condiments. There’s a living area, toilet, separate bathroom, and a washing machine on level 1. Level 2 is the sleeping area with mosquito netting and air conditioning on both levels. Junko lives next door, so you can find her if anything comes up. She respects your space and doesn’t appear unexpectedly. On our last day, we had to leave quickly for the ferry and didn’t get to say goodbye, but she gave us a bag of snacks, which was lovely. This is the best guesthouse we’ve ever stayed in.

“ホストのじゅんこさんのホスピタリティに感動”

家族3人（4ヶ月の子ども連れ）で宿泊しました。 滞在中はまるで実家に帰ってきたような安心感があり、とても心地よく過ごせました。特に2階の畳横に敷かれていたマットは、まだ小さい息子も安心して過ごせました！ベビーベッドもあり0歳児も安心して滞在できると思います！ キッチン用品や自炊に必要なものがしっかり揃っていて、とても助かりました。また、シャンプーやコンディショナー、洗濯洗剤、調味料、置いてあるお菓子まで無添加のものが選ばれていて、細やかな心配りを感じました。 バルコニーから見える夕陽もとても美しく、ゆったりとした島時間を満喫できました。無料駐車場が目の前にあるのも便利でした。 じゅんこさんには、早めのチェックインや遅めのチェックアウトに対応していただき、帰りには平土野港まで荷物を乗せて送ってくださいました。さらに手作りのお米ケーキまでいただき、とてもおいしくて感動しました。いただいたパッションフルーツやすももも絶品でした。 かわいい猫ちゃんたちにも癒やされ、じゅんこさんは英語だけでなくスペイン語も話せるため、海外からの旅行者にもとてもおすすめできる宿だと思います。外国人の主人も安心して楽しく過ごせたようです。 何より、じゅんこさんの温かいホスピタリティのおかげで、天城町が大好きになりました。移住も前向きに検討したいと思うほど魅力的な滞在になりました。またぜひ家族で伺いたいです。本当にありがとうございました。

I felt like I was at home, with thoughtful tea offerings and a convenient parking lot, so I’d definitely stay again. No complaints.
