The place is thoughtfully designed and the room was spotless. It’s close to a good restaurant, and the food served on site is also tasty—just head there in the evening and the breakfast is solid too. The staff are exceptionally warm and attentive. The bathroom is simple and the shower sits right next to the toilet, but that’s not an issue.

Riung Guesthouse feels like a little paradise! Its location is spot on, the rooms are immaculate, the food is superb, and the garden is gorgeous. Paul, Leo, and the whole team are incredibly friendly, speak good English, and always gladly help with excursions and onward travel. There’s nothing negative to mention about the guesthouse itself. The surrounding area is still quite basic and not heavily developed for tourism, but that’s part of its charm and appeal. Highly recommended for a relaxing and authentic experience!

A very nice and well-maintained homestay. The owners are very helpful and super friendly. You can order dinner on request, which we highly recommend—it was one of the best meals on our trip. We would definitely come back again.
