The motel is great and the location is amazing with a view of Mount Shasta. Nearby, there are plenty of good restaurants and bars, and the whole town just radiates a fantastic vibe. We felt very comfortable!

Brendan and the lovely lady at the front desk were very friendly, quick, and helpful. They went above and beyond, even mailing me a jacket I had left behind.

The staff (across two separate stays) were all very friendly and helpful. Everything was satisfactory, but nothing stood out. No breakfast was offered. There is plenty of closet and drawer space and a roomy bathroom counter. Parking seemed adequate. The in‑room air conditioning made strange noises in both rooms we stayed in. I would have liked an in‑room safe. The entry door is electronic; there is no key. A 4‑digit combination must be entered, which is sent via text message. Be careful with the door – there is a “lock” pushbutton and an “unlock” pushbutton that are electrically actuated with no confirming noise. In our room, if the “lock” pushbutton was not pressed before leaving, the door was not locked and could be opened from the outside.

The staff were great. The place was clean. Everything worked as it should and the location was perfect. I’ve stayed at places where the shower fills with water, which is super annoying, but everything worked well here. Couldn’t be happier!
