The hotel’s restaurant is excellent, and the room is large and clean. The noise from guests arriving at 4 am wakes everyone up, and there’s a lack of sound insulation between rooms; you can hear what’s happening next door.

We stayed in room 2, one of the three most prestigious rooms because it opens directly onto the patio. It’s a large room with hardwood floors and a very high, expansive wooden roof, typical of the early 18th‑century manor that the building used to be. The only drawback: at night when people chat loudly in the patio, the sound rises and the start of some evenings can feel a bit drawn out… but everything else is beautiful, the décor is sumptuous, and the staff are charming, especially at the bar and reception. As I mentioned, the late‑night patio noises seep into the upper‑floor rooms, but we got used to it.

The breakfast was great, the location convenient, the pool inviting, and the hotel’s design stylish. When we arrived, the parking was under construction, so we had to spend a lot of time searching for a spot, which made the area feel difficult to navigate without a dedicated parking lot.
