The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but there was no living area.

The room was very clean, and the staff were helpful and attentive, even assisting me with a SIM card, which surprised me. I appreciated that. The breakfast was freshly cooked. The only downside was the noisy street.

We were happy to find On Sai Villa for a two‑day stay in Kolkata. The guest house is small and intimate, and the room has a very long, comfy bed. Free drinkable water and a hot shower are available. Breakfast is simple and filling, and the owner and reception staff are very polite and helpful, looking after you and answering all your needs. The neighborhood feels authentic, though a little far from the city centre. The pillows could be improved, but overall the price‑quality ratio is excellent.
