The Croydon

I was greeted by Jane at the entrance and she personally escorted us to our room. The family room was spotless and comfortable, and the grandchildren were thrilled with the free WIFI. Breakfast was tasty and served with a smile, and the staff even fulfilled the kids’ requests. As we checked out, they waved goodbye and handed us two water bottles for the trip ahead, plus each grandchild received a bag of sweets, which made them very happy. We’ll definitely return!

What I liked The welcome: Jane was absolutely lovely. She introduced herself when we arrived and was incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. She genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. She also gave me and my daughter There honestly wasn't much that we didn't like. The only thing I would mention is that, being on the top floor, it was quite windy during our stay and we could hear some whistling through the windows. Obviously the weather isn't something the hotel can control, but it was noticeable at times and may be worth checking whether the window seals could be improved.some lovely goodies when we left — sweets, crisps and bottles of water for our journey home, which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast: Breakfast was perfect. We both really enjoyed it, and the full English was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the black pudding! Location: The location was great for us. It was nice and quiet outside, while still having the convenience of a bar and the facilities you’d want for a stay. Facilities: Everything was clean and worked as expected. The shower did take a little bit of fiddling around with to get the hang of, despite the instructions, but once we figured it out. There honestly wasn't much that we didn't like. “Exceptional Hotel and Proprieters.”

The hosts were welcoming, the breakfast was outstanding—one of the best I've tasted, the bar was great, and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is close to a transport stop and the promenade, and there are parking spaces available.
