Mathis, who checked me in, was very helpful and suggested spots for sunset, sunrise, and dinner. The location was good, and parking was just in front of my room. The place is overall clean, but the room had a musty smell that went away after leaving the door open for a while. Other than that, I’m happy with the value for money and will definitely consider booking again if I travel that way, hoping to catch the sunset as Mathis showed in the photos.

We ate at the restaurant, just coffee and cake for the early morning. I’d prefer the coffee to be stronger.

The location was right for us—we wanted to stay close to the RV parks just south of the motel, where our daughter and partner were staying for the weekend. The room was clean and the linens were okay, just very outdated. The motel is very run‑down. Thin walls and a front door that let you hear voices and noise from adjoining rooms and the parking lot. The bathroom was outdated with very low water pressure from the shower. A couple of lightbulbs were burnt out. No AC—leaving the window open meant hearing noise in the parking lot, which started at around 5am with a very loud verbal altercation between guests about where boat trailers were parked, with a lot of expletives!

We liked the K‑Kurig machine and the quiet vibe; the bath towels were big and soft, and the beds were comfy with soft sheets. The lighting was a little sparse, and the lamp’s plug would shut off when the light did, making it hard to charge phones; better plug placement would help. There was no luggage rack.
