“Loved the room but hated the stairs. Great view”
The place is in a great spot and the room was excellent, but the stairs were a problem.
The apartment is beautiful, very clean, and in a fantastic location. It would have been nice to have fresh towels, but I understand it’s not a hotel.
“The host should say how many flights of steps there are to reach the room”
Clean. Nearly 100 steps to reach the room, no lights on the last three flights, which could be dangerous; I had to use my phone’s torch to see where I was going.
The location facing the river is superb, and the view from the room is lovely. However, you have to carry your suitcase up to the 5th floor on stairs, although the staff carried it for you at check‑in.
“Great for a short stay if looking for location”
The location was the highlight, right on Split’s main strip and a 2‑minute walk to the old town. But there were 95 steps to the room, the stairwell was dirty and uninviting, the room was small, sockets were poorly positioned, and there was no wardrobe to unpack properly—just a table for your phone, etc.
