I stayed in a basic motel room that was comfortable, but it clearly needs a maintenance person to tighten loose screws and door hinges. The parking and yard look scruffy and would benefit from a few hours of mowing and trimming; once that’s done the place would be much more appealing.

I made a quick overnight stop, checked in with ease, and the bed was comfy after a long drive.

The location was good and easy to walk to places, the cost was relatively low, and there was free wifi in the rooms. Parking was available out front of the room. However, the rooms need upgrading: the bed keeps moving away from the wall, the pillows are very flat and soft, and the room had bright fluorescent lights with no bedside lamps. We asked for an extra pillow and the staff member said he’d send someone over, but it never arrived, which made us wonder if he was making fun of us. The checkout process was confusing, and we had to wait because no one was inside when we said we were leaving.

The room was clean and specious. We had dinner at the hotel which was about the best thing about our stay. We weren't informed before our stay that we had to pay a $200 "deposit" (bond) on top of having already prepaid for our room. We were assured that we would get the deposit back on checkout. When we asked what time we would be able to see the staff in the morning, we were told 10.30 am. We needed to be on the road by 7.00 am. As it turned out it took 48 hours to be refunded. In the room, the main bed was missing two legs along the bottom of the bed, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Luckily there was a single bed in addition, which one of us was able to sleep in. As it was, there was continuous loud conversation outside our room until approximately 3.30 am There was only one dessert spoon, one knife and no teaspoons in the kitchen area, which made our do-it-yourself breakfast a relay
