There was basically nothing good about it. I was handed a bunker‑like room in the basement instead of the room I had booked, and the Wi‑Fi kept crashing, forcing me to run to the courtyard constantly. The weather was my only saving grace; if it had rained I’d probably have gotten sick. I won’t even mention the building’s cracks and the poor quality of the furnishings for the price I paid.

The apartment’s rural, quiet location was exactly what I wanted, and the fly screens kept most of the mosquitoes out; the usable outdoor space was child‑friendly, parking right outside the door was convenient, and there was a covered bike rack. The host was friendly, flexible with timing, and helpful, but this was our third place on the trip and the apartment’s sparse furnishings made it less comfortable than I’d hoped. I also missed the clear separation between living and sleeping areas that was listed in the booking, so that layout is no longer acceptable for me, though it’s my own judgment, not the property’s fault.

The first night was nice because I was alone in the place, but the second night was noisy since I shared a balcony with my neighbors, and one guy in particular talked nonstop, so I had to listen to him all the time.
