We arrived from the airport and, as agreed, someone was supposed to pick us up, but no one showed up. After circling around and waiting for a while, we had to buy a new card just to get internet and make calls. We tried calling the hotel several times but got no answer. In the end, we decided to get our own transport. When we got to the accommodation, there was still no one there. We waited about 30 minutes, knocked on the door, rang the bell, even shouted “hola, hola” to see if anyone would respond, but nothing. After about 40 minutes, a guy finally came out of his room and woke up a man sleeping on a mattress. That man handed us the room keys without asking us anything or requesting any ID. Honestly, given how cheap the place was, we can’t complain too much. Maybe our experience would have been different if we had arrived at noon, when there might have been more staff or someone available to greet guests. Still, the arrival was pretty chaotic and the communication and organization for out‑of‑hour arrivals could be a lot better.
