“Très belle cabane au coeur de la nature”

The cabin in the middle of nature was gorgeous and we were greeted warmly; everything was spotless, the accommodation was fully equipped and close to all conveniences, and the nearby St François marina is perfect for scuba lovers, though a fan would have been nice and the mosquitoes were very active.

The place feels like a well‑crafted cocoon, with equipment that matches the authenticity of the setting, but on 8 May at 7 am a neighbor’s rototiller ran for two hours right next to our cabin.

We spent two weeks enjoying outdoor cooking in the perfectly laid‑out outdoor kitchen, warm rain showers in the sunshine, a hammock, visits from hummingbirds and other locals, and slept very peacefully – it was a dream!

“Unique experience”

We had a lovely and unique stay in a beautiful, nature‑filled location—perfect for anyone who enjoys being surrounded by the outdoors. The wooden house offers a different experience from a typical hotel, with plenty of wildlife adding to its charm. The owner was friendly and gave great recommendations for beaches and restaurants. There are also a couple of restaurants nearby, and the city centre is just a short 10‑minute drive away. We stayed for 8 nights as a couple and, while the owner was friendly, a few things affected our experience. Only two body towels and one face towel were provided for the entire stay, with no fresh bed sheets, and we were initially given just one toilet roll. Although more was provided when we asked, it didn’t feel ideal having to request basic items. On the last day, we were asked to leave at 9 am despite our booking stating a 12 pm check‑out. We agreed to leave at 10 am, but this didn’t seem well received. Overall, better provision of essentials and clearer communication would have improved our stay.
