The location to shops and the guildhall was great, but the facilities were very basic for the price paid: the small double bed, furniture that needed refreshing, a tired bathroom, and a lack of in‑room amenities.

The proximity to Gun Wharf Shopping Centre was impressive; however, there was no bath and the pillows were awful.

The location is great, and breakfast was decent, though the scrambled eggs weren’t great. The mattress feels old and the cushions need replacing; the room wasn’t cleaned properly, the air‑con is just a fan and windows can’t be opened, there’s no water in the room, and there’s no safe.
