We have a dog that stays in the car when we’re away from home. Management told us that a local government bylaw required cars with dogs inside to be parked off the premises, which I kind of thought was bullsh*t, but we parked in a non‑secured area on the street.

The hotel sits right on Main Street in Yarrawonga, so getting to cafés, shops and pubs was super convenient, but the room still felt like it was in the middle of a renovation, especially the bathroom.

The bed was hard, which was the only downside.
