The bathroom was renovated and the staff were friendly, but the sheets were clean while the blankets were thin, and the breakfast lacked cheese and ham.

The location was very good, yet there was no reception, I stayed 4 nights without a change of sheets or towels, the door was hard to close, I had booked a double bed but was given two singles of poor quality, no pillows were provided so I used cushions as pillows, and I received a room that did not match my reservation.

The location and vintage design were great, but for the entire 8‑night stay the room was never emptied of trash, there was no shampoo, the towels after washing were old and smelled bad, I cleaned the room myself and the cleaning staff never entered to tidy or arrange anything, it felt more like a guesthouse than a hotel; they told us to ask for anything we needed but I didn’t want any interaction; the sink in the bathtub was slow to drain, I paid 130 € per night—price of a spa hotel with a bar, a coffee machine with capsules, new clean towels, a tidy room and spotless bathrooms—yet the coffee in the common lounge was stale and disgusting; I’m sorry, but the place is known for its great location and authentic French feel, still very expensive for what it offers.
