Amazing location with a lovely pool

“Not worth the money”

The property looked nice, yet the terrace and furniture were outdated and in bad shape, the table was very uneven, and the pool was dirty and never cleaned; every day there were dead frogs and we had to remove them ourselves, plus a lot of leaves floated in it. The apartment was almost as bright as the photos, but the closets smelled bad. There was no AC in the apartment and they didn’t even open the windows before we arrived, so it was very hot. The beds around the pool were damaged, the fridge was tiny and its ice compartment didn’t work well, and there were no nets on the windows despite many bugs, flies, and mosquitoes. Overall, it was very overpriced. We stayed in comparable better apartments for less money in better locations in Tuscany, so this was a huge disappointment. We just didn’t realize there was no AC when we booked, but for that price we expected otherwise.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this overpriced hotel, which had outdated and damaged furniture, a dirty pool, and inadequate amenities, such as no air conditioning and a small fridge.

The location right in the hills, close to Siena, Monteriggioni, and San Gimignano, and the manager’s friendliness were great, but the rooms were simple and the furnishings could use a bit of renewal.

I enjoyed the hotel's hilltop location and proximity to nearby attractions, but was slightly disappointed with the simple and outdated room decor.
