Finding the campsite was a bit of a hunt, but the location at the foot of Osorno volcano is breathtaking. The first day was cloudy, but the next day the sky opened and the volcano was a sight to see. My son and I slept in a clean, spacious tent with a wood stove we didn’t even need, and the shared kitchen and bathroom were spotless with a great shower. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout.

The host and their family welcomed us with warmth and were super helpful. The tipi was comfy—good bedding, a stove for cold nights, and a calm garden view of the volcano. The kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate. It’s a bit off the main street, but the host kindly drove us in and out.
