“I had no choice”

The location was convenient for our purpose and the area is quiet, about 2.5 km from the shopping complex. However, the gate opens manually, so you have to disembark every time you arrive or leave. The bed squeaked with every movement, and the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. I had to pay an extra R100 per night for a room with an ensuite bathroom. Inside the cupboards were dirty, with old TV cables and a random shoe, and there was a lot of junk around the room entrance. The place isn’t advertised accurately and feels misleading.

I had no positives to mention. Everything was a disappointment.

The location was unclear and the place didn’t match the advertisement. I ended up booking elsewhere and I’m very disappointed; it feels like a scam.

“The advertised address is not in use. They tell u to come at 8 Barkley place Scottville.”

The caretaker was helpful, but the advertised address isn’t in use. They told us to go to 8 Barkley Place, Scottville, which is in a much worse condition than the pictures show.

Wes was a great, friendly, welcoming host. The place was exceptionally comfortable, clean, and the farm was beautiful as usual. No complaints.
