This lodge in nature is exceptional, with warm, helpful, and welcoming staff. The location is perfect: close enough to the airport but far enough from the city. It’s ideal for those who love peace and quiet; the garden is huge, wooded, and has a small lake where monkeys and many birds can be seen.

“A great place to start our safari”

My stay was a delightful surprise, with a beautiful room and peaceful surroundings, except for the occasional monkey jumping on the roof! The hotel's grounds were exceptional, and the staff were accommodating with early breakfast and delicious food. Although parking took some finding, and there were two lots to navigate, the WiFi worked well from our room.

“Extraordinaire!”

I appreciated the hotel's location, environment, and comfortable room, as well as the friendly staff. However, during my longer stay, I found the menu options to be limited.

“Wunderschöner erholsamer Ort”

I recently stayed at a hotel with an enormous garden and a stunning lake. While it was a beautiful setting, I was disappointed that we didn't get to see the horses, which apparently need to be booked in advance and aren't free-roaming as advertised. The hotel's grounds were lovely, but the lack of horses was a letdown.

“Ein schönes Fleckchen Erde - sehr lohnenswert zum einfachen Relaxen!”

I was truly impressed by the lodge's commitment to sustainability - their self-sufficient water cycle and on-site vegetable garden are truly exemplary. However, my stay wasn't without its challenges. The access road to the hotel, which is privately owned, was in poor condition, much like many roads in Tanzania, and it was a testament to the driver's skill that we made it without any issues.
