“Royal Sunset Hotel highly recommend for relaxing holiday stay.”

The Royal Sunset Hotel & Spa was everything we could have wanted. My husband and I were celebrating 40 years of marriage and the staff could not have been kinder. We loved the location right on the seafront, just a ten‑minute walk from Forio, and we could even walk in our luggage from the ferry. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea was lovely, our room was the perfect size with a comfy bed. The staff changed towels and sheets every day. The smaller hotel was very peaceful and quiet. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Loved it all.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is conveniently located within a 10–15 minute walk of both the town centre and the port. The service is excellent, and its wellness facilities are among the most complete and luxurious on the entire island. The breakfast is the most varied and tasty one I’ve had so far in Italy! The cold plunge and sauna are particularly worth experiencing! I was also lucky enough to be upgraded to a sea‑view double room for one night. Falling asleep to the sea breeze while watching lightning flash over the sea was such a special and unforgettable experience. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which is very convenient for travellers. Above all, I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to Alessandra at the front desk. She takes such thoughtful care of every guest, going far beyond what you would normally expect. I watched her personally help guests carry their luggage upstairs, and even when her glasses got wet, she continued providing prompt, attentive and efficient service without hesitation. I have been travelling around Europe for almost two years and have stayed in many hotels, but Alessandra is genuinely the most memorable front desk staff member I have encountered so far. Her kindness, dedication and attention to detail made this stay truly special. She deserves all the appreciation and recognition for the wonderful work she does. Un soggiorno assolutamente meraviglioso! L’hotel si trova in una posizione comodissima, a soli 10–15 minuti a piedi sia dal centro del paese che dal porto. Il servizio è eccellente e le strutture wellness sono tra le più complete e lussuose dell’intera isola. La vasca per il bagno freddo e la sauna meritano davvero di essere provate! Ho avuto anche la fortuna di ricevere, per una notte, un upgrade a una camera doppia con vista mare. Addormentarsi con la brezza marina e ammirare i fulmini che illuminavano il mare è stata un’esperienza davvero speciale e indimenticabile.
