The hotel was very nice, clean and pleasant, and the free local transport was a great perk. I couldn’t turn on the TV, probably the remote’s battery was dead, but that wasn’t an issue because we didn’t plan to watch TV. Finding a free parking spot for our car was a hassle; the neighboring streets only allow short‑term parking, and the hotel’s borrowed parking card didn’t specify a spot, so we spent a lot of time searching.

The location in the center of St. Gilgen was great. The deposit was ridiculously high for just one night and wasn’t refunded until a week later. The bathroom and shower were poorly designed and confusing, and the carpet and runner were dirty.

The location in the center is superb, the room with a balcony was lovely, and everything was uncomplicated and quiet.

The place is in a prime spot at the town center and walking gets you to all the main attractions.

Location was amazing, right in the middle of everything. But the hotel had that damp, mildew smell that stuck to you every time you walked in. Not great, but the spot made up for it.
