We liked the location opposite the Goldatzel‑Winzerei because we wanted to taste and buy wine there. The view from the breakfast table over the vineyards to the Rhine was breathtaking. Our room was near a road with a lot of traffic noise early in the morning, which was a drawback.

“Schöner Aufenthalt bei tollem Herbstwetter mit wunderschöner Aussicht”

Breakfast was great, the location is excellent, the room’s equipment is good (when it works), and the restaurant is very good but quite expensive. The safe didn’t work when we moved in, and the room phone also didn’t work. At checkout I asked for the bill by email, which required three more phone calls to receive it, even though I was told at check‑out that it would be easier than printing the bill.

“Phänomenales Frühstück, Gästehaus entspricht nicht dem sonst guten Standard”

The breakfast was phenomenal with a view over the vineyards and the Rhine. We stayed in the guest house, not the main building, which didn’t meet our expectations. The rooms were noisy, right on the street, and the double bed had only one mattress. Both restaurants were closed to hotel guests on both days because of closed societies.

Our room was great and the hotel’s location was excellent, and the breakfast was top‑class.
