Hotel Double One in Beitou District offers elegant, colour-themed suites with free Wi-Fi, each featuring a balcony with a hot spring bathtub and wooden flooring. Suites come in "Red Roses", "Champagne Gold", and "Aqua Blue" themes, with flat-screen TVs and separate shower facilities. A free shuttle runs from Xinbeitou MRT Station, and the hotel is a 30-minute drive from SongSang Airport.

The breakfast was decent. The toilet’s flush was so weak that we had to pour a lot of water from a bucket just to clear it.

The photos looked better than the actual rooms, and a shuttle to the metro was offered—though we didn’t try it, the idea was nice, though it didn’t work for the uphill return. The bathtub was tiny, and the cleanliness and service were only average.

The room was cute, the bed was big, and the view of the mountain from the bathtub was nice; checking out at 12 am was very appreciated, and the breakfast was very good. The building itself felt a little bit decrepit.
