The place is right next to the event venues, which is great if you’re heading to a wedding or conference. But finding it was a nightmare, and the chill in the air made the room feel like an icebox. The bathroom had no hot water, and we woke up at 7 a.m. to the dog on the property barking and a rooster crowing—definitely not a good start after a night of celebration. We ended up freezing and couldn’t get any real rest.
