La Casa Colonica wine and oil

I stayed at a very well maintained, relaxing spot that’s ideal for families, but it would feel even better if they offered breakfast or stocked a small grocery area so guests don’t have to hit a supermarket for every need.

The place is surrounded by plenty of greenery, has a large, well kept pool, a covered parking, comfy beds, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking on your own. The owner, Stefani, is very friendly and gave great local sightseeing tips. She also produces excellent wines herself. There were no issues that bothered me.

The location is fantastic, the common areas are tidy, the garden is beautiful, and the pool is huge and lovely. The apartment (Primula) is spacious, with a table, chairs, and a roofed area right outside the unit, plus a kitchen that’s adequately equipped, though there were too few dishes—so after each meal you had to wash enough for the next one (the dishwasher ran several times a day). The on‑site lunch was tasty, with wine tastings at very reasonable prices; the olive oil and wine from Casa Colonica were delicious. The host was super helpful with any problems that came up. Wi‑Fi coverage across the property is excellent, even at the pool. The apartment itself was somewhat dirty: dust clumps on the floors and cobwebs in corners, even at eye level near the windows. There weren’t enough dishes, and the dishwasher was broken until a technician came the next day and fixed it.

The location and grounds were picturesque, and the pool was perfect. The host communicated well and was extremely kind. Our room was ready early, and we felt cared for throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend it!
