We booked a room just a few days before our trip and were lucky to get a free room for our dates. The hotel sits exactly midway between Old and New Gagarin, which is super convenient—any destination is a quick drive away. The beach has its own mini‑promenade, and there are plenty of cafés, canteens, and shops. The host, Iosif, greeted us warmly, gave us a tour, and showed us around. We had a car and there was a parking spot in the courtyard, which was a big plus. The room had a separate entrance directly onto the street and came fully equipped with a fridge, AC, TV, and dishes. The proximity to the sea was fantastic—just two minutes to the beach and a free lounge chair. Another bonus was the free lounge chairs the hotel provides. On the downside: the room wasn’t cleaned during the three nights we stayed. There is a vent in the bathroom, but none in the toilet, which was a bit odd. A broken lock in the toilet was left unresolved by the owner, which was very inconvenient. We also struggled with Wi‑Fi; it wouldn’t load or kept dropping out. Luckily we could rely on cafés with Wi‑Fi to get online.
