“Cafards dans deux chambres différentes – nuit blanche”
The hotel ultimately agreed not to charge us for the night after we explained the situation the next morning, and the staff mentioned a pest control treatment would be carried out, which we appreciate at least. Unfortunately, the experience was disastrous: upon arrival the room’s cleanliness seemed severely lacking—towels with stains, bathroom linens that looked used, suspicious marks, and an opened water bottle already in place. The main issue was the presence of cockroaches: we found two huge ones in our first room. When we first reported it, an employee caught one by hand, didn’t kill it, and tossed it straight into the kitchen trash, which worried us because the kitchen was open, so we chose not to eat there. After discovering a second cockroach, we asked for a room change. At midnight we found more cockroaches in the new room—both large and small—and several in gaps behind furniture. We have photos and videos. After 1 a.m., there was no one at reception to help, and given the time and location, we had no realistic option to find another place to stay, so we spent almost the whole night awake. The next morning the hotel acknowledged the problem, didn’t charge us, and said a treatment would be done. We sincerely hope it will be carried out properly, as the number of cockroaches observed in two different rooms—both large and small—made the problem seem serious. We cannot recommend this hotel in the condition it was found.
