The location is ideal for biking to the Rhine Gorge or Ilanz, the food at the restaurant was very good, and there is a large parking lot at the property.

The view of the Rhine Gorge was great and the room was excellent, the TV was perfect! There was no breakfast, the restaurant was closed, and I had trouble with the code.

Nice location, 5 minutes from the city centre, parking is fine. I’d improve the Wi‑Fi: weak signal, which is very important nowadays especially “outside Europe”.

The country inn was just a façade; the rooms were booked online but on arrival there was only a foreign cleaning lady who didn’t speak any Western European language, and no staff. The inn was closed, no food could be provided, so I refused to take the room. The building sits right on a racing track, the exterior looked run-down, and the online listing felt almost fraudulent. The owners wouldn’t refund the unfulfilled booking. I’d advise steering clear and booking a proper hotel.
