The front desk staff were courteous and the serving staff were friendly; when I mentioned my mother’s 88th birthday at check‑in they surprised us with a cake plate, which was wonderful. However, the room had a step that made it hard for my mother with foot problems, the view from the private open‑air bath was poor, dust had collected on the large‑bath fan and there were spider webs in several spots around the facility.

All the staff were kind and pleasant, making the stay feel very enjoyable; the hot spring was large, the festival square had a nostalgic, old‑fashioned charm, and my grandchild loved feeding the koi. No complaints at all.

There was nothing positive to mention; we were kept waiting in the lobby until the very last minute of the 15:00 check‑in time, and when we finally got the room the bed was already made, so we couldn’t really enjoy the room or the view, and the massage chairs were constantly occupied by foreign guests, forcing us to wait more than 20 minutes after a bath.
