“Highly recommended!”
The hotel was amazing—spotlessly clean, safe, and within walking distance of Lalibela's churches; I highly recommend staying here!

The location was very good and the staff were friendly. I recommend it.

Ababa at the front desk, despite being young, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful; the room was truly comfortable and helped me unwind, and there’s an ATM nearby and a Kana restaurant just a short walk away.

Before I share my thoughts on Bete Serkie, I’m waiting for your response to my objections about Yemata Hotel in Gondar that I booked through Booking; they kicked me out onto the street.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was ideal, being within walking distance to the rock-hewn churches, but the street noise was a significant issue, especially during the Christmas celebrations when a nearby restaurant had loud music till late. The room was spacious, but the mattress was too hard for my liking, and there was no shampoo provided.
