A nice spot with friendly staff, and I chose a specific room that I liked—big, with a comfy bed. My stay was short, but the walk to local attractions was easy. The room could use a bit more cleaning; there was a pile of dust under the wardrobe, and when I returned in the evening, a bra was left right at the door.

The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable with fresh linen. Mike helped out a lot, and David was chatty and friendly. We enjoyed the generous continental breakfast, and shops, restaurants, and cafés were within walking distance. Overall, we had a good stay and might come back. The lounge chairs in the room were not inviting or comfortable, and the price seemed a bit high for the furnishings.

The location was right on the sea front and the staff were friendly. It was noisy, and I could hear other guests at night. Long‑term guests and what I assume are homeless people stay here. The mattress was lopsided, the floor boards creaked, and a curtain was hanging off the rail and needed fixing.

David gave me a warm welcome and even lent me a USB plug because I didn’t have one. Nothing was a big hassle. The room was clean, the shower was good, and there was a selection of coffee, tea, and biscuits in the room. The bed was comfy with plenty of storage, and the TV was a good size. The location was perfect—just a few minutes’ walk to the beachfront, which has a variety of eating places, and to Clevedon Pier. The only downside was the carpark: there were several old cars that hadn’t been used in a while, so the curb appeal could be better if they were removed.

The location for ‘The Front’ was excellent, and the owner and staff were very pleasant. I would have liked a bigger bed and one without a footboard, which is a bit of a problem for a 6‑footer like me.
