Le Petit Palais

This place felt like a little oasis in the city. The room was comfy and perfect for a solo traveler like me. It’s in a great spot—within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, and bus routes easily take you to most major sites. Gilles is a fantastic host, and his three adorable cats add to the charm; he has plenty of great recommendations for enjoying Buenos Aires. The breakfast was fantastic—I loved it so much I booked it again for the last leg of my trip and have already told friends about it. Thank you, Gilles, for such a wonderful stay! Nothing was lacking; everything was terrific.

The accommodation is excellent, the house is very tasteful, well decorated, and has great facilities. The room was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Gilles welcomed me warmly, gave me restaurant and sightseeing tips, and mentioned the lovely cats that live on the property! Highly recommend!

“Un vrai petit palais au coeur de Buenos Aires”

We especially appreciated the excellent cleanliness of the place and the great care taken with this B&B. Breakfast was a real pleasure, with many homemade items (preserves, bread, yogurt, freshly‑pressed orange juice) and eggs scrambled to order. We also valued the host’s helpful advice, always very attentive and available to help us fully enjoy our stay. Two small points could still be improved to make the experience even more comfortable: in winter, the lack of heating in the bathroom is noticeable, especially when showering or using the toilet. Additionally, we appreciated the thorough cleaning, though sometimes we found the storage a bit excessive: some of our personal items were moved to achieve perfect organization, which can be a little unsettling when staying with your own belongings. These are minor details relative to the overall quality of the stay, but a few adjustments on these points would make the experience even better.

“Fantastisk”

I had a genuinely pleasant and unique stay. The vibe in the house was great thanks to the décor, the lovely cats, and Gilles, who was the perfect host. The breakfast was delightful 😄

The breakfast was tasty and the host gave us a list of several nice restaurants. The house is over a hundred years old, and that age shows in its charming look and in the building’s infrastructure. One of the blinds didn’t close fully, some floorboard nails were sticking out, and street noise was fairly loud.
