The room was clean, and the lockers at reception were useful. However, the strict 3 pm check‑in rule was ridiculous: I got back at 2:30 pm, the room was ready but I was denied access until 2:55 pm, even though I had a 3:30 pm appointment. I had to rush to the metro and barely made it, nearly ruining my Kyoto trip. The room itself was old, with a window that looked nowhere, a TV that didn't work fully, a hard mattress, and only one pillow. Breakfast was basic but free.

The property was clean, the staff were very friendly, and even though English was limited they did their best to help us. The location was very close to the station, and breakfast was nice. Nothing to add.
