There was no fridge in the room and no spoon for your own yogurt. No air conditioning made it very hot. The air wasn’t ventilated; everything was sealed tight.

The pool was a plus. The water was scorching and the pool lane was closed soon after.

The setting and the room were good. The heat was intense, but that’s common in France.

The bedding was comfortable. The listing said breakfast was included, but it wasn’t, and the price didn’t change. We tried to relax by the pool, but the owners’ daughter was there with her kids and a friend. She yelled on the phone (with the speaker on so everyone could hear the details), screamed at the children like a harried farmer, and made a lot of noise. There was little respect for guests who paid for their rest.
