The staff were very helpful and attentive to needs. The establishment was clean and located in the center of Happo. The breakfast was exceptional. Nothing to add.

The traditional Japanese ryokan had a warm, hospitable atmosphere, and the owner thoughtfully added two extra sleeping mats, making even tatami sleep comfortable. Daily breakfasts were plentiful, which kept us well-rested and well-fed after skiing. The basement drying room for ski gear was ample and professional. It’s a place we’d like to return to.
