I loved the old‑world vibe of this pub, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The spot is great, the art‑deco style is charming, the staff are friendly, and check‑in/out goes smoothly. The downside was that the water in the women’s bathroom was barely warm, so I ended up taking a cold shower before a wedding; the next day it was still only a hint of warmth. My partner said the men’s bathroom was warm and I used that one instead. Maybe the bathrooms could be labeled as gender‑neutral.

The shared bathrooms upstairs were clean and tidy, and the price was budget‑friendly; if you want more privacy you can pay a little extra for a non‑attached room. The only downside was the bright street light that stayed on all night—bring an eye cover.
