The accommodation was perfect, excellent welcome and hosts available. Very good breakfast, comfortable bedding, and a pleasant outdoor area. A bit isolated, you have to drive to get to restaurants and groceries.

The garden was phenomenal! Paul and Nelson went to great lengths to decorate the accommodation with love, making you feel very comfortable. It’s great that you can use the kitchen. The two serve breakfast individually at a time you choose. I’ve rarely met such hospitable people. If you have a lot of luggage, the room feels a bit small and you only have a tiny shelf for clothes, but it still works :)

A very charming guesthouse, quiet, with a breathtaking garden view. Paul and Nelson welcomed us wonderfully, were adorable and gave great tips for exploring the island! The bed was top quality with real pillows. The shared kitchen is a real plus, stocked with utensils and condiments. We had a personal fridge and pantry to cook easily. The included breakfast was hearty and delicious! Nelson’s scrambled eggs were a highlight! It was the perfect balance between shared moments and privacy. Thanks to both of you for your hospitality, we recommend this guesthouse with closed eyes.

Located in a fabulous spot, the lodging is perfect for soaking up Madeira, and Paul and Nelson are truly attentive hosts. Maderedocevida is a real taste of paradise!

Nelson and Paul were fantastic, welcoming and smiling. Breakfast was truly a magical moment, full of local delicacies. The place is cared for and clean, an oasis of peace.
