“Für uns, die absolut nicht auf Luxus aus sind, war es schwierig,”
The hosts were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the price of about €50 for four people including breakfast was absolutely fair. However, the condition of the accommodation was much worse than expected; the cabin looked run-down and poorly maintained. It wasn’t a deliberately open design, but rather that the floorboards, corners, and some areas were exposed or damaged, allowing animals to get in easily. The bathroom was very simple and unacceptable to us: shower and toilet shared the same space, overall unattractive and with open gaps to the outside. We’ve stayed in many places in Thailand and know different standards. One night was okay for us, but we would not book again because of the state.

The property was stunningly situated on a gorgeous beach away from the busier ones. We often had the beach almost to ourselves (early April). The family bungalow was huge and the terrace view was a dream. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!!!

The location was good. The walk up the “mountain side” to reach the dirt track/road is brutal; it’s a killer for anyone not in shape, and could even cause a heart attack for someone over 60.

A great spot, the kitchen is just extra, and the place is beautiful.
We stayed in a bungalow right on the beach. The view was breathtaking and the surroundings were very quiet. It was a perfect spot to unwind for a few days after two weeks of traveling around the country. The road to the property was very rough, but the owner arranged transport from the pier for us and also provided scooters to explore the island. Highly recommend.
