The surroundings are lovely along the Moselle, with a nice large terrace by the room and a generous breakfast, but the room lacked air‑conditioning, the bathroom ventilation was poor especially around the toilet, the main pillows were uncomfortable and felt like a towel.

A very beautiful hotel in a prime location, the kitchen is excellent and the staff are always friendly, and we really enjoyed it.

The breakfast was good with plenty of variety, the location next to the bridge over the Moselle was ideal, and our bike routes were on the opposite side so we could easily cycle to Bernkastel‑Kues and Traben‑Trachbach; only the Wi‑Fi was slow, though it eventually worked, and a better router would have helped, but that was a minor issue and everything else was fine—we’ll return.

The view of the Moselle is nice, but the street noise is loud, there is no fridge in the room, the breakfast is always the same with little choice, it doesn’t feel like a three‑star hotel, and the beds are a disaster.

The food was very good, typical German and plentiful, but my room on the first floor was very close to the road and noisy, the Wi‑Fi was extremely slow at 10 Mbps down and 0.5 Mbps up, and the bed was uncomfortable and right next to the window and road noise.
