From the first contact to the final departure, Dave & Gwen did everything possible for us; the guest house felt like a home away from home without the need to cook breakfast, our room was spotless, very comfortable, and fully equipped; unlimited tea, coffee, milk & sugar were just a short walk from the plentiful provisions already in the room, and the modern en‑suite offered shower products; breakfast was excellent and plentiful; parking was minutes away in a private car park at only £3 per night; Dave was a fountain of knowledge about local activities and restaurants; the only downside was occasional road noise from facing the street, though it didn’t disturb our sleep.
