The beautiful surroundings and the hotel’s location really pleased us, but the description on Booking was misleading: our room was not in the main building shown in the photos but in a side building on Lindenstraße 31, more than 200 meters away, and we weren’t told beforehand. Every morning we had to walk into the main building for breakfast, which was very inconvenient.
“Seht gutes Übernachtungshotel”
Breakfast was excellent, the chef and staff were very friendly and attentive, the menu was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced, and we especially loved the lager‑beer in the Steinkrug. The bike garage with charging facilities exceeded our expectations. A climate control system would be nice, but it’s a historic house.
Top breakfast, even with few guests.
