“Ein herzlicher Familiengeführter Gasthof in dem es einem gut geht.”
The place sits quietly in the village, and the room was a spacious, clean pikobello with a double bed, two comfy chairs, a table, and a luggage rack. A TV with all the usual channels and a balcony with seating were also there. The welcome was warm and all the essential details were handed over, along with a folder full of suggestions for things to do nearby – very well done. What I especially liked was the option at breakfast to pick a small selection of dishes for dinner, which you could accept or decline as you wished. It was nice to have that choice instead of hunting for a tavern. The meals on both evenings were top‑class, freshly cooked, generous portions, and delicious. Thanks. Breakfast itself was extensive, offering everything one could wish for, and you could choose between a freshly made scrambled or fried egg, or simply a soft or hard boiled egg, as you liked. Great. Because we stayed only two nights, the room was fine. For a longer stay I would personally want a bit more coziness and homeliness, but that’s a matter of opinion. The room was functional and clean, which is the main thing. I have no truly negative points to report.
“Sehr gut”
Quiet location. Good breakfast.
The atmosphere is welcoming in a very pleasant Tyrolean style, clean and equipped with everything needed. There is also a small kitchen available, though we did not use it. Breakfast is good and varied. Wildsteig is very nice but there are no restaurants, so we appreciated the option to dine at the Gasthof.
The cleaning was excellent.
“Тихо и спокойно село по “Романтичния път“”
The village is in a very convenient walking location by car. Wildsteig is ideal for rest and relaxation, hiking, and cycling. Cleanliness, convenience, greenery, and tranquility. Here people live in harmony with nature. We were pleasantly surprised not only by the atmosphere and coziness but also by the hosts’ attitude and attention. The bed was very comfortable, we had two terraces with tables and chairs, and the bathroom was very convenient and spacious. In the morning we ate at the restaurant on the first floor, where you can also order dinner with a menu of the day. Everything was very tasty and plentiful. On the floor there is a room with a kitchen box, table, and chairs where you can make tea, coffee, or heat food. There is also a fridge. We used it for purchases from the farmer’s shop opposite the Enori Church Pfarrkirche St. Jakob. They sell many tasty sausages and cheeses. We recommend this place for a stay.
