The kitchen was left open even though there was a security gate, which felt very inconsiderate since it was never locked; the staff’s kitchen, however, was kept separate.

The vibe was stunning and the place felt incredibly comfortable; only downside was the mosquitoes, which you’d expect in the Caribbean, but the owner was very friendly and handed me a cream for the itching.

I had a wonderful, relaxing stay surrounded by nature and quiet; the host was lovely, attentive, and helpful with everything, and even though it’s outside town, taxis that loop around the area make getting around easy.
