The location, the location, and the extreme kindness and professionalism of the staff (especially Maria). I had to eat breakfast in my room because there was no common area for that purpose.

The place looks promising on paper, but the reality is a bit off. The recent renovation feels a bit messy. Towels and bed linen are good quality, and the capsule coffee machine gets two capsules refilled daily. The mini‑bar offers several drinks for an extra fee, and the air‑conditioning works well. Dining inside the room is nice, though the seating area is cramped. Breakfast arrives warm every morning if you order ahead. The afternoon lunch/snack menu is limited but tasty and affordable; the dinner menu (6‑8 pm) is sparse, with all courses served at once and the staff taking the domes away, so the food cools quickly. The drink selection is great—Cretan wines, cocktails, beer, coffee, and more. The room itself was disappointing: bed 11 had a small, short bed with a worn, lumpy mattress and a creaky frame that offered no support. The “couch” was just a plank box with a flimsy garden cushion and a wall as back support. The TV was tiny and not smart. Every chair in the room was stylish but uncomfortable. The bathroom was dark and lacked shelves and extra towel hooks. Outside, the concrete bench with a thin cushion was uncomfortable, the sunbeds were uneven planks with super thin cushions and were hidden under overgrown trees, making them hard to reach without scratching yourself. The pool was cold, and because the hotel faces north, there was very little sun and it was quite breezy.

C’est seulement le top du top ! Les installations sont superbes, la piscine privée vraiment géniale. Et alors que dire de la gentillesse et disponibilité des deux jeunes filles de l’accueil , nous étions au paradis !. Absolument rien !
