Riverside Hotel Marlborough

Lorraine at reception was absolutely brilliant and made my stay memorable; she helped me with my luggage and baby pram while I stayed with my baby. The room was immaculate, spacious, and had a beautiful, comfy feel; the bathtub was my son’s favorite for bathing and mine for relaxing. Flowers, ferns, and plants around the area gave a perfect Zen vibe. I would definitely stay again, but I need to try the restaurant before I leave next time. The only downside was that I didn’t book my stay for longer.

The spot is great and the rooms stay spotless, but there’s no real lounge to kick back with a drink or bite to eat—just a hallway. The breakfast was lovely, though it felt like I was just standing in the corridor.
