Everything was very clean and the staff attended to every question, but a metro line runs under the hotel so every 2 or 3 minutes it feels like a small tremor; also the rooms differ a lot from the photos, and the Rambla is being renovated, so it’s not a quiet neighborhood.

I was thrilled to be so close to Boquería and other tourist spots, yet the room felt cramped.

This boutique hotel sits in a prime spot with well‑sound‑proofed windows, and the staff were absolutely excellent; rooms were clean, had a fridge and great air‑con. It’s just a block from two metro stations and the Market, literally next door, and right across from the old town—perfect if you want to stay in the area. On the downside, ongoing roadworks on La Ramba (not the hotel’s fault) are noticeable with jackhammers during the day, but they don’t ruin your sleep; the metro rumbles below, which is usually fine. Prices are reasonable but on the higher side, and some room amenities are starting to feel a bit tired. We had our bathroom door handle fixed during the stay because it was coming off. Still, I’d recommend it for anyone wanting to be in this location.
The location is excellent for short vacations.
