The room was clean and comfortable, and the bath was lovely, especially after traveling. We dined there and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly, polite, and welcoming. This was our second stay, and we all enjoyed it.

The location is great, and the old property is very nice with very helpful staff. The mattress was simply awful – we kept rolling out of bed. It was clearly an old mattress, which is a shame because it really ruined the visit. Even though the rest of the property is good, what you’re really paying for is a comfortable, peaceful night’s sleep, and that was a complete let‑down.

The food was great, dinner superb. Breakfast was massive.

Good location, 13‑minute walk from the train station, close to the city center, wonderful staff, comfortable room, and fabulous breakfast with both cold and warm dishes. Plenty of great draft beers downstairs! The shower is hi‑tech digital and a little hard to operate.
